SPPC is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization based in Indiana, USA. The purpose of SPPC is promotion and interpretation of Persian culture in order to strengthen the cultural identity of Iranian residents in the United States; facilitate a better understanding of that culture by Iranian and non-Iranian residents; and strengthen the basis for friendship between them.
Society of Persian Culture has been working hard to teach our second generation and also our friends of other countries the importance of Persian culture, but to do this we require your support. The best way to support us is to become a member. Becoming a member not only benefits us but benefits you and your family as well. Members can purchase discounted tickets to events and classes & more!
Four categories of membership: a. Individual membership for adults (18 years and older). b. Family membership, includes parent(s) and their children under 18 years of age. c. Student individual membership for full-time students. d. Student family membership for full-time students, their spouse, and children under 18 years of age.
Nahid Rezaei was elected as the Treasurer/Secretary of the Society for Promotion of Persian Culture (SPPC) in Indianapolis since March 2015. She is from Tehran, Iran and has been living in Indiana since August 2008. She is currently a teacher at Primrose School and will graduate from Early Childhood Education program in December 2015. She has a bachelor degree in Psychology from Iran and worked as educational counselor for ten years in Iran. Mrs. Rezaei is a volunteer teacher in Indianapolis Persian School for third grade class. She is committed to teach Persian culture and language to younger generation of Iranian-American children.
